We realise that not everyone can afford a top of the line tone-arm, so we at Temmad are happy to make a complete set of engineering drawings available to you via email to allow you to make your own one. Choice of material is up to you & what you may have at hand, you can even manufacture one (well 95% of one) out of scrap wood, we have & it sounds very good indeed. We also provide a number of tips for you that make manufacturing easier. (happy building)

Magnetic Bearing Shaft
from our Merlin arm, is it's Arm Post which contains a uniquely developed ceramic magnet as it's mounting point for the arm. This allows the pivot point to have the hardest bearing service to rest on, thus reducing fiction to virtually un-measurable amounts. Because it is magnetised it also pulls the pivot point down to stopping "pivot point chatter" which can occur in some uni-pivot tone arms.
(perhaps this is why the Merlin sounds so special)

The Warlock Base & Mounting Spindle is an ideal upgrade for someone who wants a slightly better looking Wizard Arm. There is no difference in performance, it just looks better. The Wizard is priced down as low as possible & therefore necessitates a screw arm post. This is OK for the budget conscious, but we have found many people want a little more.
